It is a chilly morning. You can see your breath as you are walking to work that day. You walk the same path, except today is a little different. You notice that there is another path you could take. It is a new street. You have never seen it before, so you really want to investigate. You think to yourself that this could be something that makes you late for work, but you also think this is something that could take you away from it too. You make the decision to walk the new strange path.

[[Don't take the path]]As you walk toward the path you notice the world around you getting darker. The wind picks up and you start to see the world behind you sort of shrink. You think... is this what I should be doing? You think about your friends and family and what they would think and feel if they realized you were gone. But then you rememberd... they probably would not even notice. You walk until you see the world change. It is dark for a second, but then... the whole world shimmers...
[[The Eras Tour (Your Version)]] You actually decide you like your job and the reality you live in. You wold love to adventure into the unknown, but the known is safe. You make your way down the same street and get to work on time. You keep walking until you get flashed by a bright light. A little fairy like creature is with you. You are in a room, a white room. All you can see is this little creature getting closer and closer. You are cautious, but you feel like you know you can trust this being. It flutters its wings and gets closer to you. As you start to notice the details you notice that it is a little Taylor Swift fairy. This one happens to be from your favorite album, dressed up just like she would. You initate a conversation with Fairy Taylor.
[[If My Wishes Came True]] You speak to the little fairy. "Where am I? Who are you? Am I going to be stuck here forever??"
Fairy Taylor does a little twirl and sparkles emerge from around her.
"Do not fear my child, you have been shown the path. The path less traveled. Not make take it, but when you decide to take it you are rewarded. You get transported to any place you want to go. It is sort of like a dream. You get to live out anyhting you want, as long as it does no harm to you or others. I am here to grant you what you want. This path is magical and knows things about you that you may not even know. That is why I am presented in this form. You are more willing to trust me because you like fairies and you LOVE Taylor, so I have transformed into this. I am here to grant you the wish you most desire. You are going to get to attend The Eras Tour, front row. You are getting the 22 hat!"
[[Nice!]] Fairy Taylor continues to speak.
"If you do not wish to partake in this I can send you back home. I will send you to the moment before you decided to take this path and everything will be normal. If you choose to take this path, like you alread have, you will get to have the experience. After it is over I can still transport you to the same point before you traveled. I know you have been feeling down and a little lost, so I think you should take this adventure. I have given you the options and now I ask you this... What's a girl gonna do?...A diamond's gotta shine."
[[Home]]
[[A Diamonds Gotta Shine]] You kindly reject the Eras Tour oppurtunity. You would love to go see Taylor and you would love to have that 22 hat. However, you know that once you experience it you will only have the memory. You will be transported back home with the memory and the longing for it to be real. You talk to Fairy Taylor.
"I am gald I was given this chance. I do not think anyone would understand if I tried to tell them about what has happened here. However, I kindly have to decline. I know that this is a dream sort of feeling. It is something I will remember, but could not relive. I am my own downfall, so I have to just ask you to take me back home. In the end, its me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me. I stare at the sun, but can never look in the mirror."
Fairy Taylor just nods. "Thank you for taking the path less travled. I think you would have enjoyed the experience, but you know you better than me. Have a nice adventure back and maybe I will see you again later down the road."
Fairy Taylor twirls her twirl, sparkles go everywhere, and you see nothing but black again. Once you open your eyes you are back to the intersection. This time there is no road you have never seen. The only path that lies ahead is the one you always take. You wonder if you regret the decision, but that is a thought for later tonight when you are actually trying to sleep. You decide to take the Fairy up on her offer. You get transported in a way you cannot explain. When you are able to open your eyes you are front row at The Eras Tour. For the next 3 1/2 hours you are screaming and singing your heart out. It feels like a perfect night! You get to step up and get the hat from Taylor. She gives you a hug and kindly says, "You made the right chouce".
Karma starts to play and you know that is typically the last song of the night. You know the end is near, but you are very happy you made this decision. It made you take a chance to reflect. There are times in life when you are given options. You can take the safe route and go about your day or you can take the path less traveled. The only limit is what you allow and what you want to experience. I encourage you to take that path less traveled. You never know what life will throw at you, and you just might like it.
